She had become a single person again and was living alone. Out of the blue, a text showed up on her phone from Mr. TX. The text said, “Hi, I saw your name at the very end of a LinkedIn post. I never look at them any longer since I am retired, and have NEVER gone through the entire list. But this time I went to the end just to see if there was anyone I still know. Your name was the very last one on the list. It was quite a surprise, so I thought I would see if you are still working, are you still married, are you still HOT?” She read the text and started shaking. She couldn’t believe it. She did not answer his text for days.
When she did, she answered, “Yes, no, and YES”
A couple months of phone-calling and texting led them to investigate further to see what Destiny had in store, if anything. A meeting/trip to the Denver Rock and Gem Show, then another trip to the Tucson Rock and Gem Show, a birthday in WA, a Christmas in WA, it was clear that Destiny was playing out nicely.
And so it came to be that Mr. TX became a WA resident. Destiny.
She always knew they would meet again, somehow, somewhere.
She never knew it would be this grand.
The moral of the story is,
Don't Question Destiny!
